Clogged Down Spouts

Clogged Down spouts can cause over flowing and possible damage to foundation, wet basements. On every gutter cleaning job we do the Down Spouts are checked to make sure they are clear and free flowing. If they are clogged it is often at the top of the system. Depending on the situation these clogs are freed with either a hose, plumbers snake, electricians snake or taking apart the down spout to remove the blockage. One of the key factors is where the blockage is and the weather. When it is close to freezing at the end of the season the option for using the water to flush the system is not practical.
